Sci-fi sounding noise.

While trying to get my microphone to work, it was having this unusual feed back buzzing pulsing sounds. Along with a strange noise. (this wasn't my voice, and the file hasn't been edited. ). "who's there?" and the "hello's" are of course me, trying to get the microphone to work. I decided to record it after i felt it was strange. The sound is of course free to use for whatever you desire, credit if you want and leave a comment below to be nice. :).

Patch on my doepfer a-100 modular synthesizer. Recorded in early 2015 using my google nexus 5 with a class-compliant audio-interface and the soundcloud app. I called it "babysteps" at the time. Synthesized sound of a flying helicopter. The patter is as follows:. Sound 1 || sound 2 || sound 3 || sound 4 || sounds 1+2 || sounds 2+3 || sounds 3+4 || sounds 1+3 || sounds 2+4 || sounds 1+2+3 || sounds 1+3+4 || sounds 2+3+4 || sounds 1+2+4 || sounds 1+2+3+4 || sounds 1+2 again || sounds 1+2 with phaser effect (pitch up and down). Each sound above is exactly 2 seconds long except the second-to-last sound (4 seconds long) and the last sound (8 seconds long). All sounds synthesized in propellerheads reason's thor polyphonic synthesizer. Here's how i did it: used two oscillators (one noise oscillator and another multiple-wave oscillator), and then passed them through two different filters. In each filter, i lfo'd the frequency knob at 2. 0hz (120bpm), and the pattern you see above is each oscillator-filter combination muted in different ways. For the last sound, i applied a phaser effect and automated the frequency knob or some other knob to give that pitch-up pitch-down effect.

I was exporting a graphic in adobe after effects and the export had errors and came up with this sound. Thought it was pretty cool.

I was messing with fl s11 and made an sound that sounded like an space ship so i decided to upload it.

Used the operator in ableton to create a sound based on the feeling of stoicism or apathy.

A quick, single shot from a comical or cartoon type laser gun. Created vocally and recorded on a marantz pmd660 with a roland dr-20 dynamic microphone.

This is a sci-fi door or piece of equipment sound - short bleeps - it was created using mixcraft 6 and a shure usb mic. . I whistled and manipulated the sound using effects and pitch control.

Whenever i use my usb stick, my computer always makes an awful noise. I decided to record it and see if any of you guys can make anything out of it. To me it sounds like some sort of aliens or robots talking to each other. The only editing done was noise removal to get rid of the fuzziness and amplification to make it a little bit louder. Let me know in the comments if you use it.

I rapidly pressed the fast forward and reverse buttons on a little cassette recorder while it was playing an old radio show from the 90s. One of the first fx recordings i ever did. Recorded with a samson c03u microphone, no processing.

An alien ufo space ship approaches and then fades off into the distance.

I have no idea what this is, it just turned up on a recording. Still sounds like it would make a pretty nice critter effect for some monster.

Laser firing sound perfect for retro space games.

A suspenseful sting with a lot of bass. Gave it a scifi feel with the flanger. Made for the audience to feel foreboding or suspense during the scene. Can be paired with an object or character to give the audience negative feelings towards who or what's on screen. A 160-bpm musical loop mash of drums, synth and bass. Somewhat strange and probably unpleasant sounding. Created in fl studio.

5 quantussy cells made with cycling ads. One function and intellijel quadra + expander. That's 5. Applied some limiter. The dynamics was extreme.
