Various horror/suspense effects created by the eurorack module monsoon. Warning: contains high-pitched sounds, don't play them too loud!. All my sounds are fully free to use, but please consider leaving a comment to let me know how you'll be using them. Just curious! :).

A little girl imitates a scream of fear. Recorded in rome with tascam dr-05.

A solo violin sample from edirol orchestral was used a base, using pitch bend and then layering against pitch shifted copies of the original. Then lots and lots and lots of reverb and maybe other effects. I spent way too long on this for no certain outcome but actually it was perfect for the radio drama i was theoretically producing it for.

Some day i will assemble a pack for download of all of the various "nos" i've recorded. Very seldom did any of them actually serve the intended purpose.

Eerie melody.

This is a sound effect i composed out of some different sounds i made, i also used a public domain sniper rifle sound. But, i recorded the screams and everything.

Warning, headphone users, heheh. . I tried making a sound relating to what hell would sound like. It's probably nothing like hell but i just mushed in some annoyingly loud sounds. Stinger like sound effect which could be used for impact-horror scenes in which something outside the usual morality or humanities have occured. Made from pitch-shifted glass clinking, layering & stereophonic delay.

Spooky ghost scream made from a 3d printed aztec death whistle.

Various screams and groans of pain, fear and death recorded in the university of sheffield journalism department's recording booth for a history slideshow about joan of arc. I don't remember what the equipment or mic was i'm afraid.

You can use it to what ever you want without any restrictions.

This is a recording of a manic, non-melodic whistle processed with convolution reverb. Good for scary themes, like when the killer is approaching.

A girl screaming loudly.

A more grim, horror-focused version of spooky snap 1 - pitch automation is applied. The base is the same - a strong, resonating clink of glass by using a flat metallic surface to generate the sound.

Made with a butt ton of reverberation decay, modifications to high dampening and the layering of many swishing knifes together to create a suspenseful sound effect. The application of this sound could be used for the penultimate release of something utter horrifying to be revealed on screen, chase scenes or simply an underscore/tension builder for the now victims of a monstrosity coming at them for a bit of a nibble.

These death sounds were fun to record, if you happen to use these anywhere i'd love to see <3.

Strega almost reproducing the organ at the royal albert hall (ha ha ha!). Just a sequence from 0-ctrl fed into rings, strega and karplus-strong (mu) of mimeophon. Octave lower reproduction using morphagene. Erbe-verbe adds depth. Outs to x-pan. Rendered @48khz 32bit with markers for all you morphagene fans out there.
