This sound is a recording of the bell of a bicing bike. It is a sound object used in the sonic ensemble soundscape. Called percussive due to its impact characteristics. It was recorded using a zoom h4 recording device at roc boronat street in front upf campus, barcelona. Recorded for the sound creation lab project. The recording was edited with a fade in and out effect.

I didn't record an elevator/airplane. Just took a "beep" sound and edited it a little. Made in audacity.

This is an old 70's phone, i pick up the receiver, dial a few times and ring off afterwards. Recorded on 44,1 24-bits with a shure ksm27 large-membrane condensor mic.

A large exercise ball being inflated using an accordion-style hand pump, which produces a whistling sound as air is forced into the nearly full rubber type ball. There is a reverb to the ringing of the air as it spreads in the ball.

Sounds of a wine glass being hit with a steel spoon and wooden stick, single hits and repetitive fast hits for imitating a bell of sorts. Going into nice overtones in the second part. Caution: may get noisy and ear-piercing ;). The doorbell in my apartment is so loud and obnoxious i decided to share my pain with the rest of the world, lol. In all seriousness, hopefully someone finds it useful for their production. The first sample is the purest, with the last two i *attempted* some dampening, but the difference is really inaudible. Recorded with zoom h6 (xy capsule), minimal processing done (loudness normalization, slight panning rebalance, hi-pass @ 40hz).

This sound happened by accident. Guaranteed there's no duplicate sound out there. I tried to separate the rings by a suitable time period to sound realistic, and spaced at the end so it could be looped to ring for as long as you need.

The sound of st mary le bow (london), a. K. A. The bow bells, ringing stedman cinques, as a practice. The zoom h4npro was placed above the bells, in the base of the spire, on a thin wooden trapdoor. Fairly lenghty recording (13 mins), but gives plenty of time to select from. Take a small section from the start for the traditional "rounds" where the bells sound in descending order (in terms of pitch), or select from the bulk of the recording to get some traditional english style change ringing. These bells are known as the bells white called dick whittington (mayor of london) back when he tried to flee, and also as the 'great bells of bow' in nursery rhyme 'oranges and lemons'. Use away! this seems to be (imo - that of a proper bellringer) the best recording of bells on here, so please do use it!!.
