The temperature of the water is tested at several intervals resulting in some variation to the water sound. Individual drips can be heard after the water is turned off. Take 2 of 2. Indoor: iron gate sqeaks closed outside, then medium-sized (@50 lb. ) older female dog barks 3 times. Recorded on zoom h4n in 48k/24bit stereo.

Refrigerator hum from inside closed refrigerator. Recorded in mono mp3 mode on a zoom h2. The recorder then created a 2-track file (and i assume both tracks are identical). Compressed and normalized to -3. 1 db in audacity. Exported in flac mode.

A short clip of a wooden door opening, first a high pitch creak, then a low pitch as it's movement slows. Recorded at close proximity with a sennheiser 416 microphone, to a sound devices 552, in a residential, fully attached house, with minimal noise and background but natural ambience and reflection, from a large (bed)room.

An electric egg beater or hand-held blender running in a glass bowl, beating egg whites and sugar. Steady.

Braun model 3105 coffee maker. Multiple takes of picking up and replacing the glass carafe on the hotplate. The left channel is a sennheiser mkh-416 and the right channel is an akg c414 b-uls, both into a john hardy m-1 preamp into pro tools. Each mic has a slightly different recording position. The akg has more of a "room" perspective whereas the sennheiser gives a close up, detailed perspective.

This is a recording of a refrigerator door opening and closing. It was recorded with a sennheiser me66 and a tascam dr-60d.

Three takes of running water in a porcelain bathroom sink. Short drain gurgles at end of each run. Recorded with a sony ecm-ds70p on a samsung sc-d353 dvcam-noise reduction and mastering with audacity.

Old soviet washing machine "сибирь-2" ("siberia-2") drain for 3 minutes (controlled by mechanical timer) and then smoothly stops. It use centrifuge to drain.

Ticking s/fx. Good for many clock or watch sounds. It is actually a taylor mechanical kitchen timer. It was recorded with a contact mic in anechoic chamberclock_02 is the same timer but was recorded with an external mic, and has a thinner sound, more like a wrist watch type sound. All the files in this pack can be seamlessly looped.

After spending a weekend putting together a giant wardrobe (from everyones favourite swedish furniture store) for my girlfriend i thought i should reward myself by making some recordings of it. This is a close mic recording of one of the internal draws. For this recording i used my sennheiser mkh416 going into a sound devices mp-1 preamp and recorded to a tascam dr-680.

Pouring from a recently boiled kettle (complete with click from cutoff switch as the kettle is tipped) into a small mug with coffee in the bottom. Recorded using a zoom h1 with the built in stereo microphones.
