Since i was walking in the riaza river gorges i saw a lot of ants on the remains of an animal. I put over a pair of contact mics trying not to disturb to the ants. - contact mic was attached to the soft plastic box which was laying on the table- the surface of the box was being touched quickly with different pressure- the sound was recorded with pocket roland recorded put in from of the speaker.
The sound is a contact mic'ed piece of pvc pipe which has a drawstring from a pair of shorts tied to it. The sound is the drawstring being plucked. It's could be good for bass lines. The sound was processed slightly in goldwave (some noise reduction/eq adjustments/fading).
