Sound effect similar to a large energy beam quickly charging, then firing a large, long-lasting, destructive laser that gradually changes form (either weakens or grows). Created using a wide variety recorded sounds (including a washing machine, sliding of rocks in a metal bucket, and various other objects being thrown and collided), mixed and heavily edited in audacity.

Imitation of a roller coaster lift chain ratcheting sound. Sound produced using a pipe wrench and moving the upper part of the jaws back and forth. Slows down at the end. Used in an educational animated video.

Operating my washing machine (front loader, brand: indesit). This reflect the full circle of a washing process from turning the control knob to the typical “clack” when the machine is finished and the look is once again released. All the intermediate steps like washing, spinning and so on, are shorten in time (otherwise this would be a 50min sound clip). But you can loop all those sounds very well. Recorded with a tascam dr-40. Note: feel free to use this sound in one of your own projects. If you want to, you also can send me a link. Just makes your ears hurt, doesn't it? could be great for something like a machine having a complete meltdown, or a robot going haywire. Created by taking a stock sound effect of guitar plugs being pulled and distorting, reversing, stretching, looping, adding phaser, flanger, vibrato, tremolo, i can't even remember what else, like there's no tomorrow. All done in wavepad. I also tried to make it loop, but it's up to you whether i succeeded or not.

A bobcat type of front loader (like a small bulldozer, not the wild animal) moving sections of tree across a yard to dump them in the metal bed of a truck.

Recording taken from a train at about 20 feet away. It was very windy, so consequently, the majority of the track was very much ruined. There is a small click near half-way, caused by a brief release of steam. It might prove annoying if you are planning on looping it. There is also not an even right/left balance throughout, due to my movement to avoid the wind.

Drilling is about 5m away with a wall in between. You can hear my son about halfway through way in the background. But thought i wouldn't cut up the sample. While i was recording someone sharpening a garden scrape on a dual stone grinding machine, the utensil got stuck between one of the stones and a metal protective bracket, creating a terrifying noise until the motor gives up.
