Started with me playing with doepfer a-146-2 as gate delay. Went on using it as a wave shaper. Went on and on. . . It's not a very big patch. But the outcome is nice. It's a mix of chaos and random. Yes i'm using jerk off and sloth. Analog modular synth fun.

I have tried to make a patch similar to the one i did in vcv-rack herehttps://freesound. Org/people/gis_sweden/sounds/421725/not exactly the same. Don't remember. . . Then i did https://freesound. Org/people/gis_sweden/sounds/421752/cool, but i think i forgott to connct one oscillator. . . Now! a "faster" version. 4 vclfos are spitting out cv! yeah!fun!still no glitch!.

Some sound fx made with modular synth. Could be useful at drum sounds or game sounds. The sounds are unedited and you have to cut em out you self. Sounds a little 8-bit. . . The reason are they are generated from square waves.

Made this engine room sound. Might be useful for someone. . .

For one reason or another helsinki come to my mind today. For this drone i took an excellent helsinki field-recording, by the freesound user susipekka, as background.

Zlob diode chaos. X output - pan left "alto voice"y output - pan right "soprano voice"z output - pan center "bass voice" (no cv input to vco)trigger out - controls noise. This is a recording that makes a chaos explorer happy.

About 177bpm.

. . . But i recorded this. I recorded the sound to celebrate my first stereo patch. Yep, now i have squeezed in three mixers and will be able to make stereo effects on my modular.

Bass sound processed in abelton live. Overdirive @ 91%, auto-filter set a certain way, then a nice erosion modulating up and down. Hope you like, enjoy.

Semi-generative melodic analog sequence drenched in delay and reverb. Key of c pentatonic minor, 96bpm. Patch notes:. Moog matriarch sequenced by intellijel metropolis, filtered by ssf stereo dipole and reverb by noise engineering desmodus versio. Minimally post-processed in ableton with compression, eq, and transient control.

A little synth ramp that could be used for a robot or in electronic music. Reminds me of one of the effects at the start of the dangan ronpa theme ^o^. Made with hybrid3.

I have made a patch that generates drones. Lets call this generative. . . I use feedback on my spring reverb. I only use one filter. The drone is structured by a triangle lfo and 2 comparators. It's tricky to balance the patch to give varying and interesting results. The drone is made with a 100% analog modular synth.

Or some acid sounds… and drone. The frequency analysis reveals a peak around 20khz. Through all of the track? almost. What is that? (when i converted the file to mp3 the peak disappears. . . ) one clue could be that i use the filter as vcas too?i have applied normalisation, compression and limiter in audacity. 26. 01. 2016. Played around with the doepfer a-188-2 tapped bbd module. Recorded with a rme babyface and cubase.

A simple patch on my modular going through zoom ms-70cdr spacehole reverb. The effect is based on the famous eventide space blackhole.

Had a patch. Changed speed, attack and delay time. Got this. A bubbly noisy landscape. At the end i dissconect the "main lfo". The one thats makes things advance. But beyond that i get sounds.

The day before the swedish election 2018. Yes ,there where was an other version of this sound before. . . Free sound keep suggesting the tag "digital". Wrong! my sounds are made with analog gear. Right, the sound has to be digital to reach you - this way.

2nd sound today! in spite of short time by the synth. . . . Anyway here in using a feedback loop on the quadra envelope generatorstrange effect with long pausesi use quantizer on thisnoise from jupiter storm. Evaluation of patch/soundone cycle is - about 17 sec - goodonly short sounds - no and yes, good this timeamplitude variation - yep goodpitch variation - yep, enough, goodtimbre variation - could say somusical value - i should consider this musicalentertaining - hmm. . . Interesting.

Yeah! more sounds made with jupiter storm! oh yes and a feedback loop too. We are approaching jupiter - the magnet storms are haunting our radio.

A strange beat. Might be hard to use? it has go something. . .

Boring sound. . . Neuron patch (?). . . Inspired by nlc squid axon (i have saved some hp for that one!) i have patched up a simple 2 stage asr with 2 s/h. Most of the time it plays its atonal melody, but when the patch is stimulated (by a sloth lfo) feedback opens up. I can adjust the sensitivity in different ways (so i can simulate the intake of drugs. . . ). The sound from the oscs goes though vcfs with some resonance. The vcfs are controlled by the same sloth lfo. My neuron patch. . . No hands during recording. My favourite part is when nothing happens - for almost 1 min?! but you can hear the filter working via the vcfs. The cv must be in some strange area.

The drone has a form of pattern repeating every 2 minutes. But other thing are vaguely linked to this pattern. The heart of this patch is intellijel quadra + expansion. I'm using 3 oscillators and noise. I add some character to the sound with a driver pedal (boss bd-2).

Now i have two a-160.

Simple patch. Two oscillators, ring modulation, lfos, vcas and digital effects. No spring reverb this time. Important module is the clock divider. Result a generative ambient patch and sound. I recorded for 1,5h. The synth gave me some strange slow crescendo. Don't really know why. This is the last 30 min. Space drone sci-fi sound.

Doepfer a-118 white noise through an a-108 vcf8 using the band-pass out. Audio level: 4. 5emphasis/resonance: 9frequency: around 12khz. Recorded using a rme babyface and cubase 6. 5. I tried to cut seemless loops. It's always nice to hear what projects you use these sounds for. Let me know. ;-).

Some raw one-shots from my doepfer a-100 modular synthesizer recorded and edited using ni maschine. In my ears they sound way better with a bit of compression, but i thought the unprocessed files would be more useful. Naming is super vague. Recorded back in may 2014. It's always nice to hear what projects you use these sounds for. Let me know.
