I was recording some ak foley with an airsoft gun i had when i accidentally dropped it. The sound it made turned out so good that i ended up using it for this. Sci-fi laser sword sound effects that i created. I created these sounds, using some creative commons 0 sound effects that i got from freesound. Org, and mixing them with some of my own recorded sound effects. To record the hissing sound that i added in the sound effect, i ran the bottom of a cooking pan under some water, and then placed it on a hot stove. The water hissed as soon as it hit the hot stove top, making the hissing sound. Hope you enjoy the sound effects!.

This one is an attempt to replicate the ww2 enfield bolt action rifle the british used through world war 1 all the way to world war two and is even still used in some paramilitaries today. I used mostly recordings of the actual enfield rifle and just stacked them together, processed them with eq and multiband compression and several transient designers to bring out the snap and attached a reverb tail to it. Made this in ableton live.

This was made using my normal usual process for gunshots from scratch. I also added in my airsoft p229 to give it a more live authentic feel.

Recording foley is great. I'm still rather new to it but i really like doing it. Here's a holster foley i recorded with h4n pro in my room with a cowboy holster and a 357. Hope you enjoy.

24/48 mono recording of the sound of a fnx. 45 acp being shot slowly in a gun range 9 times. During the recording there are a couple shell casing that can be heard hitting the floor. There is a long break after the final shot before the target is recalled on the automatic rail system. There is a slightly echo-y natural reverberation to the gun range. Other than that the recording is very quiet in-between shots and each shot sound was allowed to dissipate before another round was fired.

Catapult launches. The payload whistles as it rotates quickly while flying, then it hits solid wall or ground.

I created this by opening and closing the blot on an airsoft gunplease feel free to use this in your projects.
