Crickets are also audible in the background throughout the recording, as is some background traffic noise. A peeper or two make cameo appearances as well.

A stereo field recording of hundreds of several species of frogs at spring in raleigh, nc. Recorded at a very large concrete stormwater retention pond. The tall concrete walls made a nice effect acoustically. There are a few other faint sounds such as my dog walking around, a bit of wind and a car door as the pond was next to a parking garage. But, the frogs definitely dominate. I recorded this with an olympus ls-11.

Recording of the pond near la macina di san cresci in chianti, italy 7/1/18 23:00. Some slight wind interference. A few bugs flew very close to the mic for interesting sounds that you can edit out if you need something unobtrusive.

Recording is mostly to the left but sometimes shifts a few degrees to the right, and the frog's build from only a few to dozens over the duration. A recording of the upper pond in jones park, brunswick east made in january of 2023 on a pleasant summer's night around 10pm. I came for the wildlife, but also captured the sounds of city. Along with frogs, bats and insects you can hear music, a dog, a bicycle, traffic, and people. The conversation might not be suitable for children. The recording was made with the inbuilt stereo microphones of a zoom h5.

This record is done near court yard at russia where children plays. Summertime. Cars are passing by, sometimes frogs are croaking in the pond near by, and once helicopter flies past pretty low.
