Audio of an electrified commuter rail line in downtown charlotte, north carolina as is approaches the crossing. You can hear the horn in the distance, then the bells of the crossing gates as the begin to close, and then the train horns again before it passes by the crossing into the station.

I made this melody in garageband for something called victors crypt. It's based on a melody i made on trumpet. Then i added some synthezizers to get more atmosphere and exitment to it. I think it could be suited for a saga with heroes, kings, monster etc. Or something else. Feel free to use it as long as you give me the credit for it/write me as composer. A horn sound signaling danger approaching. Gradually increasing, it's basically saying, "oh crap, what is that?" originally recorded on a zoom h2, it's a sound of me humming. Of course it's been filtered, slightly stretched and had distortions of a high degree thrown in and filtered more to achieve the horn sound. Enjoy!.

This is audio of just about the entire ride of the powell-hyde cable car line in san francisco, recorded on 08/26/2015. Late evening trip through the city. I recorded this while i was on the steps on the right side of the car, holding the recorder in one hand and my life in the other! tourists talking, the operator ringing the bells and using the brake levers, etc. Recorded with a tascam dr-70d, built in mics. Free to use, but let me know where it ends up!.
