The sound of the boom gates going down at a level crossing. A train arrives, stops at the other station, and departs with a blast from the horn. An announcement goes off in the distance. Then the boom gates go back down and a train, this time on the recorder's platform, arrives. The doors open and the train is boarded. This was recorded in australia.

Recorded with my iphone some street ambience. Phone was sitting on a 4th floor window at evening time. Some barks and cars can be heard.

This recording was taken from the balcony of an apartment in johor bahru malaysia on september 30th 2022 at about 1:30pm. It was monsoon season but not raining and the weather was hazy and muggy. The recording features the drone of a busy city punctuated by a whippersnipper, a building site, birds, a light aeroplane and car horns. At around the 4:30 mark there's two loud motorcycles that race each other and echo around the city in a most glorious way. The recording was made with the inbuilt stereo microphones of a zoom h5 portable recorder.

For creating this sound i used:handmade didgeridoo of pvc tubessound picked by microphone akj-xmk03effects used in post:in guitar rig 4:1. Tube compressor2. Ac box amp3. Studio reverb4. Twin delayin audacity:compressor.

Recording of a slow moving freight train engine as it passes, blowing its horn and then the sound of its screeching brakes with that metal on metal grinding sound. Recording using built-in stereo mics on zoom 6 recorder.

Had a fire drill in uni today so thought i would have a shot at recording it incase any of you have a use for it. I recorded it using a tascam dr-40, 44. 1khz 24bit.

This sound is modeled after the inception movie's large horn blast. It is a low multi-voiced saw wave with a specific ring modulation setting to give it it's effect. This sound is rendered as a 44100 sample rate 16 bit wav file. Made with native instrument's massive inside ableton live 9.

Over 3 minutes of loud motorcycles streaming by revving their engines plus sirens and horns during an insane motorcade of bikes and choppers that temporarily took over streets of the westside highway. Sirens are not police but are from bikes in the motorcade. Includes people talking and crowd noise in the background, some distant helicopter and followed up by some very relaxing chimes in the park that's adjacent the highway. Recorded september 2022.

Audio of an electrified commuter rail line in downtown charlotte, north carolina as is approaches the crossing. You can hear the horn in the distance, then the bells of the crossing gates as the begin to close, and then the train horns again before it passes by the crossing into the station.

I made this melody in garageband for something called victors crypt. It's based on a melody i made on trumpet. Then i added some synthezizers to get more atmosphere and exitment to it. A horn sound signaling danger approaching. Gradually increasing, it's basically saying, "oh crap, what is that?" originally recorded on a zoom h2, it's a sound of me humming. Of course it's been filtered, slightly stretched and had distortions of a high degree thrown in and filtered more to achieve the horn sound. Enjoy!.

I recorded this while i was on the steps on the right side of the car, holding the recorder in one hand and my life in the other! tourists talking, the operator ringing the bells and using the brake levers, etc. Recorded with a tascam dr-70d, built in mics.
