Fith attempt of uploading this 20 min beach sequence. Tried to upload this in wav (approx 650mb, 24/96) but somehow. . . Recorded with tascam dr-05 plus diy deadcat (and the kitten works as you can hear. . . ). So here we go as an mp3 (neil young would say we´ve only get five percent). Ocean waves at point reyes. Edited as a loop with no enhancement. Using a sony mz-rh1 minidisc recorder with unmodified panasonic wm-61 electret condenser microphone capsules. The left and right omnidirectional capsules are separately mounted in lavalier housings that allow independent placement when recording.

Atlantic ocean surf recorded on the beach right at the water's edge during an evening in september 2009. Some birds (plovers?) can be heard towards the end of the recording. Recorded with binaural mics (sound professionals sp-tfb-2) and edirol r-09hr digital mp3 recorder.
