A unique sound i recorded in bangkok whilst standing on a floating pier waiting for a boat. The pier is made of metal and the sound produced is the empty steel pier rubbing against the pylons with each wave of the river. You can also hear a boat motor as a ferry pulls up to the pier. Recorded with a tascam dr-05.

Two flat barges, relatively big, are docked side-by-side (at berth) and rubbing against one another due to choppy conditions. Raw audio edited to remove moments of intense, booming wind noise. George, staten island, new york city, new york, usa on a zoom h4npro recorder with on-board x-y microphone, aimed downward at the barges from an elevated position.

Walking along the rocky shore of a large river.

I'm back with another binaural. I am attempting to capture the sounds that remind me of the places i have visited. This is a recording of fuertaventura, in the canary islands, on a pebble beach the morning after a big wave swell. The rocks being moved by the sea are at least as big as footballs, and the waves are 8-12ft. I upgraded my binaural mics to roland cs-10em from my homemade ones. I'm happy if you can notice the difference. I like that they are combined mics and earphones with little windbooms. Files are recorded in:24-bit 96khz. Wav. They are as big and as high quality as i can make. Please comment :).

Calm ocean breeze simulation, created using the zoom h1. Sound was created using water faucet, and carpet to catch ambient close sounds to create this effect. Added pop compression filter and verb.
