It's raining in my city and decided to record.

Just a simple recording of some water flowing through a sewer drain. Some nice running water sfx that could be used as a positional sewer loop in a game, or as part of ambient bed.

Some splashing in a bath in bath. Recorded using a rode nt1 running through to a tascam 1082 into logic pro 9. Samples where from taking a mug of water and pouring it into a bath full of water. ( after having a bath not to waste the water ) recorded at december 1st 2014 6:36pm. No additional plug-ins or normalisation was used.

The recording is slightly edited to prevent it from being too long. The recorder was placed under a picnic area roof, so the water is dripping from that. I think you can almost hear the storm passing from approximately right to left. Recorded using a (slightly wet) zoom h2 in 4 channel surround mode. Recorded under a bridge with fast driving cars above, rain is dripping. The cars hits a gap on the bridge parts, so there is a typical sound of cards entering a modern bridge made of concrete. Recode with a tascam im2 and iphone, i believe.

Braun model 3105 coffee maker. Multiple takes of picking up and replacing the glass carafe on the hotplate. The left channel is a sennheiser mkh-416 and the right channel is an akg c414 b-uls, both into a john hardy m-1 preamp into pro tools. Each mic has a slightly different recording position. The akg has more of a "room" perspective whereas the sennheiser gives a close up, detailed perspective.

Heavy rainfall and loud dripping from a leader head slightly to the right. Recorded during summer near a cottage terrace. Zoom h6 + zoom xyh-6.

Soundscape in the cacique hall, a huge chamber in the spanish karstic system ojo guareña. This was recorded in total darkness. Many drippings can be heard here and there in a nice stereo. Is it an oppressive atmosphere or a relaxing background?. Recorded with sony pcm-d50.

The sound of steady rainfall, as heard from my front porch. Traffic can be heard slightly during some moments. Nothing else, just the rain. Recorded on the tascam dr-05x, limited and normalized in audacity.

For a podcast project i needed some coffee related sounds so i recorded our techni-vorm moccamaster, filter coffee machine as it brewed a full pot. Our version has a metallic thermos jug rather than the standard glass jug. This recording was made using a sound devices mixpre6ii and a stereo pair of fel em172 mics. Low cut on the sd which in basic mode is 80hz (i think). There is no processing to this recording other than to ‘normalize’ the levels. I do not require any credit or attribution. The recording is partially ruined by wind (i forgot the windshield. . . ) but interesting anyway. . . When the wind is picking up you can hear water droplets falling from the trees around you.
