Letting water inta an old metal kitchen sink:. - first several times into an empty sink with the drain open - with very audible drops on the metal sink at start and end. - then once filling the sink and draining the filled sink with some gurgling of the drain at the end. Recorded with an stereo pair of km184 into a tascam hd-p2, 48khz, 24bit.

A folie i recorded for a short students movie i edited in 2011. I recorded these water drips with the zoom n4's built -in microphones and it worked great for me, so i decided to upload it. Enjoy.

A nice wet-themed ambiance of early spring in a small midwestern town in the us. The spring peepers dominate, always in the background. The american toads trill off and on (:38----1:04, 2:09-----2:31, 5:50----6:07, 6:25----6:40)there is also a distant dog bark, with echo at 3:31. Distant car horn at 3:57. Since this was recorded on a busy weeknight at 7pm, a lot of distant car doors and people picking up and dropping off kiddos for basketball practice, choir practice and other ancient extracurricular activities. There is a particularly good door open and slam and muted conversations at 6:43 to 6:56 and again at 7:17stereo recording made on thursday night march 29th, 2018 using a sound devices 702 and an audiotechnica bp4025 stereo microphone. The original was recorded at the very high sample rate of 196hz. Enjoy a town winding down and internalizing on a cold, drippy wet night in either very late winter, or very early spring.

Was cooking a ham steak one night and when poking it with a fork noticed it made some awesomely gross sounds, lol. So, like any astute audio lover, i grabbed my zoom and recorded it! did my best to not rattle the stove or anything on it. I'll put it as creative commons, since who really goes through and credits every single random sound file they downloaded on any given internet scourge? but i'm always interested to see how the sound are used - especially this one ;). A long loop of rain, which could be used in a game or other project as-is. The suburban rumble has been filtered out, leaving only the sound of the rain. Drops falling on metal can be heard. ---2 primo em172 capsules -> zoom h1, 300 hertz low-cut filter.

Water dropping on tile and metal drain randomly, with a distinct rythm that slows down towards the end of the file. Recorded with zoom h4n embedded mics, quickly edited on protools for gain, noise reduction and artifact removal. Still a little noisy, though.

We are back in germany and its raining again! i opened the window an little bit and recorded with my roland binaural mics the rain and raindrops that are falling from the window! you can clearly hear the drops but sometimes you have a little wind noise. Recorded with roand binaural microphones and zoom h1 in 96/24.

Heavy rain on a metal roof (some variation in heaviness) recorded outside. Water drops into puddles and a single roll of thunder.

My keurig coffee maker has been sounding a little rough so i decided to record it with my zoom h1n this morning as it made me a cup of coffee. It's the entire cycle with the general noise of a kitchen. Mainly you can hear my 20 year old fridge humming in the background during the quit parts of the keurig cycle. Don't plan on using it for anything, so have fun with it. The audio from when the coffee starts to pour into my cup is on the left side, so that was pretty cool to listen too on the headphones when i played it back.

Brushing off a down/nylon jacket, as if dusting snow (or rain or dust) off of someone's shoulders. Could be used for many different swishing noises. Recorded with stereo nt1a mics in a soundbooth. Volume boosted in audacity. No other effects.

Recorded near a drainpipe, i have no idea what the bass wind sound in the background is. I think it was some sort of exhaust from the basement around, but i don't know why it turned off and on. In any case it makes for a very spooky ambient effect.
