All surface to air fireworks are illegal but, due to covid-19 cabin fever, people just didn't care this year. This recording is almost 99% voice free. There was a couple on a balcony that are barely heard muttering something in just a minute or two of this recording. For the most part, it's clean. I kept the peaks very low to maintain a natural sound. All of my sounds recordings are provided free of all charges. A few minutes of early fireworks that i couldn't escape, so i recorded them. Hope you can use it. This turkey lives about a hundred yards from me. The soft sound of passing cars, the little bursts of legal fireworks from time to time serve set it off.

A large energy charging then firing with a persistent explosion that ends with a massive blast. Created using a wide variety recorded sounds (including a washing machine, sliding of rocks in a metal bucket, and various other objects being thrown and collided), mixed and heavily edited in audacity.

I set out to record new year's eve fireworks, but didn't anticipate the dog going so crazy. It's not a great recording, because of the dog and its owner yelling, but it has moments. Recorded with: audio technica bp4025, sound devices 702t.

This is a long recording taken in the backyard of my neighborhood on july 4, 2021. There are lots of distant (and a few closer) booms and explosion sounds. Kind of sounds like a war going on! in this longer recording a plane also flies overhead, and someone drives down the street.

Warning: careful when listening, it gets loud!. July 4th. Recorded in the midwest usa, where we adore our explosives. The omnis on my humble dr-05 did a pretty good job capturing the sheer depth of zillions of people blowing stuff up together :-). You’ll hear: people having a party in the distance, a bonfire crackling on the right, a distant train blowing its whistle, and of course a lot of explosions. A couple of the big bangs clipped, but unsurprisingly, it made no audible difference. I reduced to 48khz, 24 bit and normalized to -3. 0 db. It really wakes up when you apply some eq to your liking. But i left it as is for everybody.

If the volume is raised enough you can hear the firing of automatic rifles and dying soldiers. Enjoy!.

A large, industrial-era brick factory building in lawrence, massachusetts is demolished with controlled explosive charges. Recording was made from the other side of a large parking lot.

This is a file that uses multiple files from this website put into one. I wanted to make a semi realistic gunfight and found a few clips to use. There is a lot of gunfire in the beginning. A quarter or halfway through the audio, the gunfire peters out to a few weapons and background noise firing with the occasional sniper fire.

I made this sound by editing a single gunshot.
