Inspired by ben croshaw's point 'n' click horror adventure games, i decided i'd try and see if i can make my own creepy whispers using audacity. This is basically some whispered lines and some really low-volume screams superimposed on one another, with some of these lines reversed. I made this on march 2012 and was recorded on my netbook's slightly damaged built-in mic.

An edit of the wooden sound of minigunfiend, to make it a cool tension thriller suspense sfx, nearly musical. Multiple of plugin were used. Tune to fmin in a way. Original sound:https://freesound. I took the sound "arpasauro atmo" from thalamus_lab and stretched it + fading in and out, because i needed a longer version. I just love the atmosphere it creates! the gong at the beginning transmuted into some kind of a mystical choir and at the end the short squeaking turned into some kind of a slow door groan. . A horror sound for as a sound effect. I played smoke on the water on my guitar, recorded it and edited it in audacity. I reversed the audio, tuned the sound lower and speeded it up. This was the result, a creepy horror suspense sound.
