Two cats argueing on the street. Jimmy and mr. Ramseier. Mr. Ramseier pretends to be strong. Jimmy moans. In the end i clap my hands, to give jimmy a chance to escape. And so he did. Well done, jimmy!. Recorded with i-phone 5s, february 15.
This is a singing glass with a cat meowing in the background. 1. Hold the empty wine glass on a tabletop at the base of the stem with one hand. 2. Wet the index or middle finger of your other hand with some water. 3. Lightly rub your wet finger along the rim of the glass. 4. As you rub the glass, you will hear the "singing" sound of the glass. You may have to re-wet your finger periodically and/or adjust the pressure of your finger on the rim of the glass to keep producing the sound. 5. You can change the pitch of the sound by adding water to the glass. Minidisc.
Quiet atmosphere in any galician spring night: song of scops owl (otus scops), crickets, any frog specie, cats fight and dog barking, song of barn owl (tyto alba), people speak and continuous background sound of a distant factory.
Another recording of my cat trying to get my attention. I couldn't get rid of all the room ambience, but i got the mic as close as i could without max eating it. Lol. Recorded with: sanken cs-1e, fostex fr2le.
Cat eating: here you can hear a cat eating out of a metal bowl. The sound of crunching is evident and also the slush of saliva when swallowing. Recorded with the zoom h6, rode ntg and by using an actual cat. This sound is great to add realism to any soundscape.
This was part of a cat fight picked up by dreamtalk recorder, an app for iphone. It records mainly for when i talk in my sleep, but often picks up interesting sounds outside my house.
A screech owl i recorded in my backyard, late at night. Very low ambient sounds. Beautiful creature. Please enjoy this and let me know if it was useful!.
Crickets in a very humid and warm part of texas, some water movement and owls in bg, very dense and strident crickets, recorded at 48-16 with portable dat using schoeps ms ball, edited and decoded in stereo in pt.

This is my cat playing at my feet and purring. Unfortunately, you can hear the sound of my hand scritching him. I'll try again later and see if i can get him to purr without so much physical contact. Hopefully it's useful to somebody. Recorded with sanken cs-1e, fostex fr2le.
Heard a barred owl calling in my backyard. Grabbed my zoom h4n with audio-technica at897 shotgun mic and started recording. Did some minor equalization to soften the higher frequencies and roll off the low end. Crickets are chirping in the background, a few other insects make some sounds. Soft droning of a couple planes flying by and vehicles from a highway about a mile away, but do not overpower the barred owl.
A pair of owls stationed themselves outside my half-basement bedroom window in colorado early this morning around 12am. Unfortunately i only had my phone to capture them with, but it still turned out alright, save for the periodic vox-like breaks when silencing background noise. The hoot is obvious as to the source, but i'm unsure about the screech/cry that occurs with equal frequency. Is it the response of a mate? or just the yip of a curious neighbor dog?. Recorded with the stock application on my lg g3 phone and encoded to mp3 using the "video to mp3" app.
A cat eating a mouse indoors. Managed to record this from a distance of 10 centimeters from a cat´s mouth. Little bit of traffic noise from open window in the backround.
Recording of my cat purring while laying down. Recorded and processed at 24bit 96khz using the tascam dr-40 linear pcm recorder. Processing: gain-staging and soft high and low frequency filtering. No eq boost or cuts anywhere else.
A recording taken at 6:03 am - 7:03 am 2/3/2023 in northern wisconsin near a pond and small lake. The temperature is -21 deg f and you can hear the trees make popping noises occasionally due to the cold, which is the interesting part of this recording. There is a distant owl calling early in the recording and you can hear coyotes in the distance. Unfortunately trucks in the distance too. This is hour 854 of a 1054 hour recording (12/29/22 - 2/11/23).
Scops owl male guarding his territory and calling the female. Early summer of 2014, midnight. Recorded with the microphones of panasonic hc-v700 cam. File: wav. Absolutely free to use.
A short cat conflict (he wants - she not) ;-). . . While birds are singing in the trees and a rooster is crowing then and when. Recorded in the early morning hours at round about 4:00 am. The spatial impression is best if headphones are used. The download-file is a polywav. If you need to split the file (e. G. To make a stereo file), you can use the easy to use"wave agent beta"(free)from sound devices for example. ;-)https://www. Sounddevices. Com/product/wave-agent/. _________________________________________________________used recording gear:zoom f84 x rode nt1 (without "a" = the black ones).
Night time, two cats are miaowing and fighting while we ear the dishes done in a resaurant and the television. Ethiopia, 2009. Recorded with zoom h4n, stéréo, 48khz, 16 bits.
This is a stereo recording of two cats eating wet food and dry food from the same bowl. It was recorded with a pair of rode nt-5s. I added reverb so they're in a cave. There is a version without reverb also.
That sound represent a cat who is playing with my camera, lucking that. So, we have some bass amplification, gear who goes fast and tempo who goes fast as well. Because of that we can get a noise of "shot" of my camera.
