Inspired by the monster hunter videogame franchise. Made these sounds in ableton live 9. I want to get into sound design for film and games so any feedback would be appreciated.

Monster gorwl.

This is a recording picked up by dreamtalk, a good app for iphone/ipad/android, it records when i talk in my sleep but also activates when it picks up other sounds and so i decided to upload this it picked up of a dog down the street barking.

Some sort of wild beast snarling at something, someone upset the beast! (use the sound for whatever you'd like).

Synthetic creature soundscape which sound as howling or moaning, a bit melancholic. Created with clavia nord modular[note to self] old morpheus again (clavia - voicehrip03).

All my sounds were created for an upcoming motioncomic i created called: madagascar: alex's story. . . I did not create these from scratch, but instead, remixed stock sounds of different roars, growls, breathing, etc. And fiddled with their settings until i got a sound i felt satisfied with. I thought the best thing to do with them after the project was done is to share. So, no need to give me credit. The sewer creature! i recorded sounds around the house and used audacity to slow it down to make weird alien sounds in full stereo effect.

A recording of a pair of hawks that often nest in this small town in southern illinois. It seems that the essence of the wild is captured in the sound of a screeching hawk. Recording made during the late afternoon on a day in late february 2013. Equipment used: zoom h4n recorder using the built-in stereo microphones turned to collect sound from 180 degrees.

The audio was recorded by a student in a recording studio for educational purposes.

I made this file and used paulstretching and pitch change. I liked it. It's pretty much indescribable so see what you think. I hesitated to put "angels" on it but it does sound at some point like a host of voices.

Pobblebonk frog named for the sound of its call or the eastern banjo frog. An australian frog with a distinctive call. Note i've used selective eq to remove the cicada calls. An accompanying file has the cicada calls unedited. Recorded with rode ntg5 - > zoom h4n pro -> processed in adobe audition, equalisation, hi-pass, eq.

High above our heads and the less pleasant layers of car traffic, budgies tweet and chirp and chitter. Nestling in the crowns of pine trees in various parks across the eu capital, they add a subtropical flavor to brussels' diverse soundscape. Just as most of the city's inhabitants, the ring-necked, alexandrine and quaker parrots came from a different place. Having escaped a zoo exhibit many years ago, they've been eking out a living, adapting to the tempered climate and found themselves a new home. As urban animals they contribute to brussels' exceptional cosmopolitan vibe. (recorded in the park of forest).

Sparse birdsong, evening, sagebrush plateau of northern new mexico.

So this is my attempt in making a crowd sound effect. It really didn't sound like a people's crowd since i said "walla" too loud in some clips. There are approximately 28 clips in that sound varying from 15 to 17 seconds. Also, i combined another crowd sound effect which i created in 3ml editor and edited in both audacity and adobe audition to make it longer. All (with the exception of the earlier crowd sound effect i did) was combined in audacity.

Here's a hummingbird recorded at 96khz, then filtered and slowed 900%, resampled to 44. 1you can hear the individual wing strokes and the chirps now sound something like the monsters from the movie "pitch black".

I have talked some strange sounds into the microphone and raised the pitch and speed a little bit. As a result some strange evil creature talk.

I happened upon a number of bullfrogs on the edge of a golf course in the reeds, calling.

I could record and post a lot of birdsongs, but frequently there are too many at once or there is a background noise such as a passing truck or car. That, and i can't identify most. Iphone, external mike, audacity.

I don't know the details (like male / female, barn, tawny, big, little etc) but this fella started hooting the tother day so loud we could hear him/her indoors. The recording was done straight from my samsung galaxy phone. Slight amplification applied but otherwise raw.
