Garage door closing, electric motor, single garage. Edited with audacity. Recorded on shock-mounted zoom h1 mic, record level 62, autogain off, gain low. Record location, inside a car in a single garage (great sound room).

The sound of an electric car being plugged in and recharged. The clip starts with the car's recharging flap being opened from inside the car, then fully opened by hand, then the plastic socket cover being opened, then picking up the charging connector and plugging it into the car. There is some clicking as the electric vehicle's cooling fan turns on for a short while. This was recorded in-person with a tascam dr-40 stereo recorder at a small, suburban farm. At some bus stops in weimar plays an endless ticking soundit is believed to be the heartbeat of the city.

This is a recording made on an iphone se using the now discontinued sennheiser ambeo vr headset for binaural "3d" recording. This recording has not been processed in any way except for the levels which were normalized. Since it was a cold windy day, i believe i had the mics under a thin hat, which acted as a wind shield. This may have slightly muted the higher frequencies but it shielded the mics from wind noise. I will make some more recordings and share them.

At a tv game show was a question about numbers station. Because i've never heard of that i did some research. After i was kind of fascinated. So i decided trying to make my own sequence of a fake station. I used audacity, musescore2 and some public domain sounds.

The sound of an electric van operated by la poste in france (national mail service) in quiberon in august 2020. This e-van is obviously silent. One can spot the sound of a gravel stuck in one tire, louder than the engine itself. This was recorded on a tascam dr-05, 16bits 44. 1khz by me.

Munich natives seldom use that name, calling the square instead stachus. Towards the end of the recording a tram tries to force its way, using his bell for a looong time.
