Crackling chewinggum in a mouth of a child. More pouring out of the paperbag into the mouth at the middle of recording with chewing. Different mouth formants. Recorded with zoom h4n at 44,1 khz, 16 bit, stereo. Without compression. Only cut low end at about 500hz to take away a little bit of breathing and denoised some backgroundnoise for more direct sound.

This time i promised my self to make my cuts more musical, you guys know, good outside (or) inside recording can be esthetic in many ways. When you walk around and listen carefully, you can hear music everywhere. When i got home i began chopping, an then i realized i could turn this mini recording session into some cool loops as well. I think its a good way of practicing sound design(or anything musically), to just limit your self some times. Basically got the idea when i was studying musique concréte. (concrete music). Could upload the samples if some one is interested?. I used no effects at all, no panning (stereo recordings) or no limiters/compressors. Some of the recording where made by using binaural microphones. I recorded everything with my zoom h4.

I love the sound on a summer night in our backyard. I woke up at 2:00 am, to minimize street noise, and recorded this. I downloaded the break from here http://www. Freesound. Org/people/patchen/sounds/20176/# and then split the sounds into instruments, reworked it with a new sub bass at 102 bpm. Enjoy :).

I composed a fairly long midi loop of chord progressions & let each section repeat twice. Then i layered a bunch of return tracks of the same line with arpegiated outputs played with straight, quarter note swing eight note swing, 16th note swing, & 32nd note swing all played together. The output was then compressed, heavily chorused through multiple fx devices, and stereo panned into the nonsense you hear. Sounds like a laser going off, then a big rumbling explosion. Created in adobe audition using the generate tones to create a saw wave sweeping from 22khz to 20 hz, then reverbed and eq'd.

This is a field recording at a sea shore. You will hear the waves breaking and occasionally some sea gulls.

An amplified version of thrusters_loop for a more intense effect. Has some nice rumbling and stereo sound. Created in fl studio with two white noise components, both with a low pass filter and one with an overdrive plugin. Edited in audacity.

Microphones: a pair of dpa 4006 microphones with ua0777 nose conesinterface: focusrite saffire liquid 56. Studio room: w:2,5m x d:2. 0m x h:2,8m. Each file contains 3 techniques: single tone, double and ringing bell.
