Generated 10 minutes of white noise, applied some eq and what i may call stereo expansion, and got this thing that should be good enough to be used as an ambient sound for cold weather or polar wind. Many of the sounds i have found here and elsewhere, have other noises and/or were created through other methods like blowing.

A long track i put together for a game. This track has small arms fire, grenade explosions, machine gun fire, rifle fire, artillery fire, and 2 screams in it.

This recording was made with an iphone 4s fitted with a tascam condenser stereo microphone in an asian restaurant in bern. We hear the sound of the restaurant with people eating and chatting while the open kitchen is busy washing and preparing dishes. One of the bus boys is singing to himself, which can be heard dimly and at some point a bell strikes a few times.

I created these sound effects using audacity and my own equipment.

I played arbitrary co-soundings on the mystic scale (it becomes mystic arabian if you mimic arabian music; otherwise is sounds european). I applied 300 hz steep low pass (eq) on an inverse sawtooth soundwave generator. I applied many delay effects in tandem. Created on fruity loops and re-equed on wavelab. My neighbour is working at the second floor. Metal hit, pushing heavy stuff, crackings and vibrations by some human body mass at the old wood floor. In the second plan, we can hear passing a train and some cars. Quiet atmosphere with singular acoustic, like a sunday's work.
