Hello,. This is the sample pack that i completed for the sound design course at slam academy. The theme of this pack is sounds that could be used to make melancholy and dark sounding music, but use however you see fit. I used ableton’s operator and analog synthesizers and xfer’s serum plugin to create this sounds. All processing was used using ableton’s stock effects and serum’s stock effects. The sound of a starship's engines throttling back out of some crazy galaxy-hopping ftl drive. The roar gives the sense that it was an energetic peak at some point. Was originally bells. Recorded on zoom h2. (any chirps heard on freesound are not in the download. ).

For a computer game the robot sound, reminding the well-known r2d2 was necessary. To create such sound it turned out similar means (a compound of synthetic and natural soundings in processing).
