Harp player from gambia, africa playing the chora, a typical harp used in gambia or senegal, in western africa, by the so called "griot", a singer, storyteller, singing songs and stories, thus beeing part of the oral tradition of his country and people. The recording was made during the berlin carnival of cultures in the summer of 2011, the harp player and the drummer (djembe) were sitting among the crowd of listeners open air at the bluecher platz. The sound of an electric van operated by la poste in france (national mail service) in quiberon in august 2020. This e-van is obviously silent. One can spot the sound of a gravel stuck in one tire, louder than the engine itself. This was recorded on a tascam dr-05, 16bits 44. 1khz by me.

Walking around the night market on sunday april 2nd 2023, in chiang mai, thailand. Starting outside a bar where a band is doing an improv music set, then walking down the road passing stalls and people from all around the world. There supposed to be a yellow ferrari always parked somewhere near the corner moltkestr. /roonstr. Right here in cologne. My plan was to look for it once a week and record the ambience. I only made it once, recorded with peak and my ibook's built-microphone. I never met the car's owner and i don't know where it's gone now, since i have not seen that car since then. .
