I needed a sound effect of a body being thrown into a river for a play. This is a recording of me falling backwards into a pool. Splash_1 is a little louder, and there is some clipping. Splash_2 is a bit longer. Recorded using internal mics of a zoom h2n.
Created using tracktion waveform-10. I used 3 instances of the builtin synth subtractive, 1 was for the body of the snare the other 2 were the noise to try and replicate the wires of the snare, finally i used zynaddsubfx to create the transient. There was some eq applied to boost key frequencies in around 200hz and mastermix plugin to compress the audio.
If anybody can interpret belly, the original ancient language of the human torso, please share your insights. I always wanted to know what it is saying, and linguaphone doesn't have a belly-course for the offering. Timbre optimized the sound : https://freesound. Org/people/timbre/sounds/323688/.
Do not use without my permission. If i say no i'm not just saying it for the sake of using a 2 letter word beginning with n and ending in o. If you do use any of my sounds you must credit me.
My attempt at a heart beat sound effect, just quickly experimenting. Created by pulling on two sides of a t-shirt and then modifying sound. First attempt! much to improve, hope it comes in useful.
Took a sample of a tr909 kick drum, stretched it, added some reverb, bass boost, compression split the track and offset it slightly to create a left to right pulse.
Sound of a body falling on the carpet. Foley recording. Mono recording, 48khz/24. Mic: neumann km 185 supercardioid, zoom f8 recorder. Edited slightly in pro tools, nothing major, just a bit of compression and eq.
12 closed hihat hits recorded in a reverberant bathroom. The hihat was recorded with a three microphone setup with a close mic mono and a wide-stereo overhead version of each sample. See my other packs for matching drum samples. More are on the way if anyone finds these usable.
Quiet bubbling punctuated by some groans. Recorded with a google pixel xl, as its bottom-facing (mono) microphone is perfect for this. No noise reduction.
