The sound of my car's window wipers going at medium speed while rain hits the window in gusts of strong wind. This was recorded in-person with a tascam dr-40 stereo recorder. Strong wind. I recorded this in my house.

Wind noise, made from several segments of white noise with different eq and flange settings, cross-faded to form one long loop. I probably used soundforge's accoustic mirror, but i can't remember for sure. This was inspired by;http://www. Freesound. Org/people/anton/sounds/2690/andhttp://www. Freesound. I believe this was recorded with a sound devices 702 and a neumann rsm 191 stereo shotgun in a concrete stairwell. You can hear the rain hitting the stairs and going down the drain. It's also hitting some junk at the top of the stairs. There are big thunder claps and more distant rumbles.

This is a recording i made during a lull in a storm, i recorded in ortf configuration with a pair of akg c1000's through a mixpre-6. I pointed the mics at my neighbour's house which had an overflowing gutter/drainpipe making the water slap on to the concrete. Recorded 2017 in melbourne australia.

Not too much action but it gives a good idea of how a quiet ambiences sound in ambisonic. You will need the sennheiser ambeo plugin in order to convert this recording into b-format.

Recording of an ice storm.

I recorded this using my small sony cybershot camera. You'll notice that the wind goes from loud to soft to loud again, repeating. This because i am opening the window wide and then after a few seconds i close the window but not completely so that i get some low whistling sounds from the wind. I recorded for 18 minutes and i used audacity to edit it. Hope this sound is useful for you!.

I opened my door - with tiny bells attached to it - to listen to the storm and moved around the recording device a bit, resulting in a wee bit of whirling psychedelic effects.

This is a recording of a storm from the balcony of the living room in the province of rieti in italy on wednesday 8 september 2021, where various noises such as lightning, thunder, heavy rain, a bit of wind and even an ambulance and a bulldozer working in distance.
