This is a recording of all in-flight announcements from a flight attendant, the first officer and captain during a flight from atlanta to new york on august 17, 2018, recorded directly from the headphone jack at my seat with a zoom h1n. Each clip is separated by a few seconds of silence. For authenticity, i left all the dc voltage spikes and electronic noise in place. This is the second part of four sounds of a cessna 152. Here is the take-off and a very small part of the flight around the namur aero club. At about 3’05’’, we can ear the engine slowdown to reach the « cruise rhythm » ( approx. 2200 - 2300 tr/min). Recorded on 2017/10/21 with an olympus ls 100.

This is a sound i made in audacity by recording myself going "vvvvvvvvvvvvvv. . . " on two separate tracks and slowing them both down by 95% and adding a little bit of reverb. I think it's sort of convincing but i think it would be better if the pulse of the samples being copied a bunch of times kind of gives it away. Feel free to do what you like with it.

A commercial jet passing overhead. Recorded with a sennheiser 416 shotgun microphone into a sounddevices 702 digital recorder, standing on the small patch of grass behind the landing strip at lax (near the in-n-out burger).

A nice & sunny recording session at the airport! positioned right at the flight path of departing planes, this served as a test recording for the tascam dr-40x. At some point during the session i decided to point the recorder straight up, instead of towards the planes themselves, creating a nice stereo "pass-by" effect.

This sound was made inside audacity and mixed in magix music maker. Free to use for anything.
