Approaching army? rising nightmare?. Wrote/recorded an eerie nightmare approaching in the distance sound. The sound starts soft and builds to a crescendo. Ezdrummer2 was used w/ a low pass eq filter. Panned left is ableton stock plugin glass cave mirror. Panned right is polar pad. Center is the ezdrummer2 w/ a low pass eq filter combined with the all alone pad stock plugin. I won't claim that this is a ghost as i am sure many would debunk, only that i believe it to be. This is an evp i found during playback for something else i recorded in audacity with a usb condenser mic. This happens a lot and i have quite a few. It sounds to me like a voice that is not mine is saying "watch" i cleaned it up as much as i could but this was barely audible originally so i had to bring up the volume a lot which made the noise floor pretty loud. I did some noise reduction to make it sound cleaner. I have personally had experiences that i believe to be supernatural but decide for yourself as you listen or use it as make believe. I have more i will upload when i can including ones from places that have been researched and said to be haunted (taken on my phone). I have to find them but as i come across them or new ones i will share. No need to credit me, i am just sharing this for fun. It creeps me out, and gives me chills so hopefully it does the same for you mwuah hahahahaha! enjoy ;). Only processing: gentle eq highpass at 95 hz. And some slight gain reduction. These sounds remind me somehow of creepy film scores where the strings do that erratic pizzicato thing that sends tingles up your spine. Tell me what you come up with, i'd love to know!!.

Just joined. Here's my first submission :). Recorded a few samples of "voice horror", a friend and i were going to make a short film but it never panned out. Basically the sound is a "disembodied voice" recorded on some tech that the entity damaged the quality or something. Used several filters and a vocoder. The idea was to vocalize the first parts in a way that it would be hard to understand, having the viewer listen more closely, and build the fear with the audible phrase ". . . And now there's somebody living on the other side of the wall and i think he can see usssss".

Recorded as part of my mus152 class with my friends andrew and kevin. On a zoom h6 an sm57, an at2020 and a lousy amp.

Sound effect created with a piezo pickup transducer attached to foam tubing being talked through and recorded through a preamp with a donner wave analog delay pedal attached utilizing audacity amplify, bass and trebble, distortion and paulstretch.

A request for freesounder neilreynolds1980, intended as a soundtrack for the play dr faustus at the point the eponymous character is sucked into hell. A bit of technical information: the basic sound is a stacked set of ‘devil’s intervals’ (augmented fourths) with doubling at the octave, playing an instance of calf organ set to a truly horrifying demonic choir patch i created. The rest of the effects are accomplished using automation of this instrument as well as calf pulsator and calf filter in ardour. This sounds much better when downloaded than it does in the freesound player. The stereo image and sample rate are much reduced in the version you hear in the player.
