I wanted to create a sound that could be creepy but not too scary for kids or children's stories originally. Then i added the paulstretch effect in audacity to create a more ominous, creepy, scary, evil, sound for a more horror like ambience. I am uploading the original as well without paulstretch and maybe another version with echo and/or reverb. An orchestration of a few synth sounds, placed in a pleasing order. The synths were individually chosen and some were effected. Then the entire wave file was reversed.

Made with audacity. Copy and paste it 4 times. The first track should not been changed. Change the pitch to +3 on the second track. Change the pitch to -3 on the third track. Change the pitch to -7 on the forth track. And change the pitch to -9 on the fifth track.

They are referred to as different things but overall a creepy, evil, raspy, breathy type screeching sound. I created this with a type of practiced scream on a blue yeti usb condenser microphone. I recorded in audacity and added some reverb, fade in, and fade out. It was originally for a video game voice over audition. I also have the original with no fx if needed. My example/inspiration were the creatures in lord of the rings, fellowship of the ring. They are also called the fell riders and the black wings (when they ride the fell beasts), as well as the shadows, the servants of sauron, and the nine servants of the lord of the rings. The orcs of the tower of cirith ungol call them shriekers. I download from this site often, so i thought i would return the favor :). Feel free to contact me with any other requests!. Just your typical scream of pure evil from the depths of hell. Mix it in far into the background of a scary movie to give the audience a subtle feeling of unease, or at full volume for a truly horrific effect.

Man, this is extremely old! so old that i actually had to pitch it down, because my voice was higher back then, lmao. I literally just growled into my mic and added some paulstretch and reverb, and then pitched it down a bit. It's meant to be like a monster or demon being angered or awoken in an indoors area or something like that.
