This record of a csa (czech airlines) airbus a330-323x during departure from runway 06 was made at prague airport on sept 03, 2014. The mic i used for was a sennheiser mk-400. That`s why this record is just mono.

Some sort of poor mans quantussy x 3. Am-modulation delivers some nice sounds. Deep blurp. Beeps and nonsense. This is generative modular synth music. Machine composition. The machine is a small analog modular synth. Beep!.

I generated a sort of a bassdrum with https://donald82. Kapsi. Fi/services/wave_generator. Cgi i used this formula: cos(200000/(x+1117)). Not going to use that anywhere but i figured someone else might want to. Or maybe someone else want to generate their own bassdrum :).

Just a purring cat, recorded with a zoom h6 with the x/y mic. It starts out a little soft and then gets more bass heavy as the cat approaches the mic. Unfortunately there is some audible cloth movement, but i guess it could still be of good use.

Recording of the atmosphere in a small german supermarket. In the background the sounds of the cash tills. One announcement in german. Also you can hear the sounds of the cooling boxes. Recorded with a zoom h2n, 44. 1 khz, 24bit, x/y.

This is a glass of water being poured into another glass. There are long pours as well as a couple short ones. This was recorded using a pair of earthworks tc30s in x/y into an api 512c and then compressed with an api 527.

This is a sample of howling wind created in logic pro x using a few of choruses, flangers and fm synthesis. It isn’t the most realistic recreation of wind, but i think it’s a great layer to put under actual wind recordings. This is also suitable for horror:esc sounds.

Drum: pearl sensitone steel 14" x 5. 5". Head: genera dry. Mic configuration: mono room, two overheads [spaced pair], batter head, reso head. I did basic eq cuts and boosts with some compression. No limiting used. Each articulation was carefully played and gain adjusted to seem as natural as possible. My goal was to also create a multi sampled snare drum that could be drag and dropped into a sampler with ease. Articulations: x-soft, soft, medium, hard, and crack. ***i will post a link to the complete multisample pack for all to download soon.

An x-y controller is attached to effector with asychronous ramping of the x and y gains via two control tracks. Strangely produces phantom instrument sounds, almost like guitar and organ. Created in flstudio 11 with ni massive, flstudio effector, reverb, compression and eq. The note track is made by me for no good reason - i just thought it sounded pretty. *there is, now, a longer version on my harddrive.

This are noises of a rain gutter during a rainfall. As this was recorded on my balkony there are strong reflections of the adjacent brick walls. I set my mics up just in time to catch this loud thunder crash during a recording session. I aimed a stereo-matched pair of akg 451s out the window in an x-y configuration and ran them into a universal audio 2-610 preamp. There are no effects at all.

The sound of rain and slow and rumbling thunder. This was recorded out of my window using an se electronics 1000a condenser microphone though an onyx blackjack usb audio interface into m macbook pro running logic pro x.

I made a simple alarm sound on logic pro x by layering 2 alarm sounds on top of each other to give a more realistic panic alarm sound. Thought i'd share it with the community as i found it really useful in some of my videos.

A number of coins dropping on to concrete made by overlaying a single coin drop and offsetting multiple times. Made using two coin loops in logic x but creating a number of tracks, offsetting the loops at 'random' to create the sound of multiple coins. Also truncated some loops for variation.

Recorded for a musical with children with 2 x schoeps mk 20 in a small ab. Additional a tlm102 close to the bottom of the bomb fur the fuse. This is not the whole recording. It is cutted after the "explosion". Look or tischbombe_3 if you will hear the things falling down as well.
