This is the sound of a sheet metal that is under high tension, hitting it with a small key produced a laser fire type of sound. Recorded using a contact mic as the area is surrounded by a lot of noise, the contact mic cut out everything. The recording was taken at my place of work so it would be easy should anyone require the "shots" to be re-recorded at a different tempo. 96khz 24bit mono-mix.

Sound of crossbow firing/shooting made by recording a mouse trap. Originally recorded for a university project, but thought they could be of some use to someone.

A mixture of heavy and light bursts of machine gun fire created through compiling, mixing and processing multiple audio files to create the desired result of rapid bursts. Mixdown is in stereo, making use of spatial panning and volume adjustments.

Several shots taken from a over-and-under shooter during pheasant shoot in very windy conditions in a deep valley. Recorded with rode ntg-1 shotgun on sony fs7, audio pulled directly from. A collection of 8 plasma rifle-style single shots, inspired by the plasma rifles you hear in the terminator movies. Each shot is slightly different so there is some variety. I created them by layering single gun shots with other sounds and then running them through a granular synthesizer with some effects.

Explosion sound created using a zoom h1 and tempering with metal fibers near the mic capsules. Added verb and pop compression for better flexibility. A quick, single shot from a comical or cartoon type laser gun. Created vocally and recorded on a marantz pmd660 with a roland dr-20 dynamic microphone.

Done with an alarm gun/gas pistol that shoots blanks. Pistol fire until magazine is empty.

I was standing in the middle of the newport southbank bridge facing the daniel carter beard bridge. You can hear cincinnati on the left and newport on the right while traffic pans from left and right in the stereo image. Gear: zoom h6, xyh-6 x/y capsule (120 degree stereo image), rycote windjammer, mounted on a tripod. Please feel free to leave feedback and ratings.
