Croaking of tropical frogs by night in martinique, french west indies.

Recorded this at my girlfriend's house in the back where the frogs always congregate in spring. I used a yamaha pocketrak. Please comment on what you will use it for. Thanks. :^).

Windy suburban night. Recorded from a upstairs bedroom window with a h4n. Wind chime. Cars passing by in the distance. Metallic bang from garden ornament. A tiny bit of wind artifact which the rycote wind jammer didn't catch. Crickets singing happily. Very big gush of wind can be heard near the end of the sound file.

This is a fairly close-up recording of a cricket chirping at night. The recording was made with a tascam dr-05.

The welsh city of swansea on a summer evening. In the centre of the shopping area, hard concrete surfaces all around. Someone is bouncing a ball and walking towards the mic, seagulls calling, and there is light traffic in the background.

This mantram is said at the time of marraige in hindu culture.

This recording was taken around 10. 30pm near a village called dewe in uganda. Dewe is a village in uganda about 100 yards from the shores of lake victoria. I was fortunate enough to spend a month staying with a project called the dewe school of art based in the village. I took this recording while i was alone in the project gardens at night. I have not processed or tampered with the sound in any other way than slightly amplifying the original. Surround recording on zoom h2.

The sound of tree frogs in bermuda at night. Recorded in june 2021. One frog is withing 5 feet of the microphone and is very loud chirping on top of a background chorus of a multitude of his compatriots. 8 minutes long.

Tonight, about 0:30 gmt+2 while recording in the middle of the woods (only 2 houses around) 2 dogs were harassing some cat. The cat is alive and safe right now (9 hours since recording have passed). Recorder: h1n + windshield.
