Tail end of a paper-airplane competition as part of #azwud (arizona world usability day) in scottsdale, az. About 100 adults and 3 kids made paper airplanes then flew them in an informal indoor competition. Sounds of the crowd reacting to the different flights as planes flew off in all directions, hitting the ceiling, the floor, the audience. Announcer in the bkgd. Children approaching the 'launchpad' then the crowd reacting to their winning throw. After the kids' throw, the sound of another competitor's plane hitting the ceiling/floor (?) and then his comment "too much thrust. " a kid saying to an adult, possibly her mom (?), "please don't succeed" as the woman approached the launchpad to throw her plane.

During my exchange semester i took a class called "sound and electronics in theater". We had to do an editing project where i had to make a 30 second sample of the sentence “a large monster charged a whole group of people. Many people died, but then one man grabbed a machine gun/knife and gunned down/chopped up the monster. ”i only used sounds from freesound. Org and edited and aranged them with reaper. This is what the result sounds like. (well in this uploaded version i removed the ripped spoken quotes from terminator because they were not from this website here :p). I'm using a wired karaoke microphone and recorded it on audacity. Clapping and people cheering are coming from my hands and my voice, respectively. Each clap is recorded manually (some are near the mic and some are far away) and as well as the cheering voice. I recorded it at my living room. Recorded and uploaded on december 2017.
