Just tried to make a sound you would hear on a nes or a gameboy. Just took a random sound and took one small part of it and repeated it over and over. Which made a kind of "beep" sound.

When we open and close the door it produces a sharp sound. When we close the door the sound is louder because it hits into the wall.

This is just a noise taken off my home phone, it is the standard noise that plays after punching in a number. I used a direct feed for this one, although there really was not much different. This is the only sound from a direct feed that wouldn't come in so terribly soft.

Recording from the balcony of my air bnb in venice, italy. You can hear doors opening, people walking, dogs barking, seagulls, a plane goes by, a person with a limp walks by, speech in italian and other ambient sounds through a reverberant street. There are no cars to pollute the soundscape.

I recorded this muezzin during my stay in abu dhabi. It was the mosque close to the hotel i stayed in. It is the noon-time-prayer. Abu dhabi has a lot of hihgrisers. I litterally pulled out my belt and shook the belt buckle infront of the mic. This is exactly what one would think it is. This was recorded at the open window institute sound booth in centurion, south africa.

This is a knife i use often at my workplace cutting different materials. It’s called an ofla knife- they’re pretty small and can retract and come back out again with a drag of a switch. This is me dragging that switch up and down, slowly for each individual tick and then all at once. I know in this recording the background isn’t completely silent, i’ll try to reupload a recording when it is at some point.
