Recorded on a phone, mysteriously, as a message on my answering machine. I have no knowledge as to who recorded it, where it was recorded, or whether it came from a live performance or not. All of the segments of this set combine sequentially, to form the full phone message.

It's a recording of a modern portable cash register printing a daily report. Then the paper tape is ripped of. There are funny frequency effects caused by the paper tape getting longer and resonating different frequencies. The sound have not beet piped through any processing. Recorded with a hand-held zoom h2's rear mics. Originally 96khz/24-bit wav. Edited and converted to flac using audacity.

Recorded myself typing on our old desktop computer's now garbage keyboard likely over a decade ago with my old nokia e66 smartphone. I then edited this recording yesterday to find out how much i would be able to improve the already decent quality. I may upload more keyboard and keypad sounds, and you may contact me to request more.

Here are some recordings of some of my basic woodwork tools. I'll try and get better recordings in the future but i share a workshop and it is rarely quiet enough to get good recordings. All recordings are me working on a piece of 25mm thick walnut timber. Listening back has made me realise that all of these tools need sharpening!! :). The recordings are as follows:. 00:00 - 00:26stanley block plane fine shaving the edge of the timber. 00:28 - 01:33stanley 5m retractable tape measure, metal blade and plastic casing. Tape being wound out and drawn back in. 01:36 - 03:30milwaukee m12 battery drill. Trigger being pressed, chuck opening and closing and bits being changed. Drilling into timber. Driving screws into the timber and removing them again. 03:32 - 05:14lie nielsen crosscut tenon saw cutting across the grain of the timber. 05:17 - endgeneral purpose wood saw 'ripping' along the grain of the timber. This recording was made using a sound devices mixpre6ii and a stereo pair of fel em172 mics. Low cut on the sd which in basic mode is 80hz (i think). There is no processing to this recording other than to ‘normalize’ the levels. I do not require any credit or attribution. If any of these sounds have been of help, and you are feeling charitable, please do consider donating to freesound to help keep the site running (a link is also on the home page). Any donations are greatly appreciated!.

Disclaimer: this may be loud. Check your volume. This sound is an experiment i did for a short film my crew and i are working on. I wanted to see if i could make a warning effect like the civil defense messages that play on the radio for storms and other emergencies, so i recorded my voice, and pitched it down, equalized it, put it through a high pass filter and lo and behold, i think it sounds pretty darn close. I then coupled it with a couple alert tones from my local noaa / nssl station and this sound was born. This effect could be used for an apocalyptic scenario or civil unrest, riots, looting, or anything else you desire. Not required, but it would be cool to hear if you use it for anything. Enjoy!.

Sounds like you are in a futuristic city terminal. This is of course meant to represent only one of many sounds - it is not complete without other futuristic sounds (if you want to make a futuristic city terminal atmosphere!). This sound reminds me of an old third-person shooter game which was released/published back in the days (year 2000!) -- messiah!. This sound can for example be used in sci-fi games, for example when the player is walking in a huge futuristic city terminal, or is interacting with an ai - you name it!. If you enjoyed the sound, please rate, comment, spread! it really helps!. Note: make sure to check out the other matrixxx-sounds! the sound quality is always better when you download the sound(s)! ⛄. Enjoy!. P. S. I request that all my sound effects only be used for clean, appropriate media and projects. Thanks!.
