Well. . . . . Field recording is a bit of a stretch this was recorded on my back porch in springfield mo usa in june of 2000. I used a minidisk and two pzm's and a home made spliter box that worked only if you never touched it. It was one in the morning to try and avoid most of the traffic. Rain starts about half way in. The track was recorded at one of the last visits of a soviet tupolev tu-154m to prague-ruzyne airport. The plane was owned by slovakia government at that time. By dec 31, 2017 the aircraft, which was the last active tupolev tu-154 in eu at all, has been retired. After that the plane was not wrecked luckily, but went to aviation museum of kosice, slovakia :-) for recording i used a canon eos 6d with a mounted sennheiser mk-400 (mono) mic.
