A recent visit to london and i recorded these sounds with my iphone4 for a project, they aren't the highest of quality (limited by the mic quality on the phone) but they give a good indication and could probably benefit from some eq to make it sound better.

I was walking through the city center of augsburg, germany, there's a car passing by, some people waking and chatting. Zoom h1, 48/16.

I videoed this sound of a subway train in glasgow scotland on the famous "clockwork orange" train as they are called. I used my canon powershot a460 digital camera to video this, i simply took the sound from the video. I was lucky enough to get a good run on this with just a few poeple on board, so there wasn't any other sound apart from the train, the only time you here some movement of feet is when the doors open. Please note, anybody is free to use this sound, you don't have to credit me, but it would be fun to hear how you use my sound if possible. :) here is the link to the type of licence i use. Captured at the brand-new castletown branch of sainsbury's. Another of those mindless public safety announcements played at either end of a moving walkway. This time, members of the public are asked to be prepared to get their trolley off the walkway. In surveying the scene, it occurred to me that there was also no other choice! one could, i suppose, deliberately come to a screeching halt immediately after disembarking and my late mother-in-law would have been somebody who did just that! so, i suppose there's some point this after all!.

The sound recorded by the high-way. A police car runs very fast with the siren on. Recorded with korg mr-1 and two at3032s. Before this recording session, i lost a sponge head of one 3032, so i took off another one. It was like walking on the moon without space suit.

Spoken voices are from the instructor and a group of elderly orienteering runners who blundered into the middle of the battle. Weapons mostly 5. 56mm sa80 rifles and 7. 62 gpmg. Note the crescendo of firing as the assault goes in.

Recording of a journey on the dubai metro from first gulf bank to dubai marina. Station announcements can be heard in arabic and english.

This is a rather simple one, compared with 002, the sounds are more subtle and less punchy. The bass drum is much significant compared to 001.

The mitosis pack is a pack generally founded on just 1 beat pattern, the most common dance drum pattern found in techno music and trance. This pack uses the single pattern and expands upon it through various sounds that make the pattern sound different. 001 is the basis of all. Reaktor - arobic was used to mainly create this loop.

It's a long recording of a train moving by with few other noises in bg.

An earthquake that ripples through from far away and then makes the roof of a house crack and cave in. Used audacity to manipulate a couple different sounds to create the rumble of the earthquake. Then i added the cracking noise in the same program from a different effect (wood breaking).
