This is a piece of an announcement made in japanese in the small town of kawaguchiko near mt. Fuji in japan, about a month after the earthquake and tsunami of 2011. The hotel staff told us the message said that, due to very good work of the people in rationing their power usage, there would be no power outage that night.

This is like the other file almost the same name, it is the same silly announcement that warns you about the end of an escalator or conveyor and is used in asda. A short journey on london overground train from dalston to highbury and islington passing through canonbury. Recording includes ticket barrier noises, doors opening and closing and general announcements. This recording was made using a sound devices mixpre6ii and a stereo pair of fel em172 mics. Low cut on the sd which in basic mode is 80hz (i think). There is some processing to this recording to ‘normalize’ the levels and light eq-ing. I do not require any credit or attribution.
