Sanitizing hands: this is a very useful sound effect in the times in which we live. You can hear the bottle spritzing sanitizer and then the substance, vigorously, being squished and rubbed into hands. Recorded with the zoom h6, rode ntg in a recording studio. This is a very specific, subtle sound that will prove useful.

This is a "happy birthday to you" rendition to celebrate the 15th freesound birthday (april 5th 2020). The sound has been made by researchers of the music technology group of universitat pompeu fabra (i. E. Where freesound happens!), and voctrolabs. The sound uses choir synthesis technology developed for the trompa eu project. This means that what you hear are not real singers but synthesized voices generated by a computer! the score adaptation for choir is based on a score published in the choral public domain library. This is a crow picked up by dreamtalk recorder, a brilliant app for iphone/ipad/android. It was early hours in the morning and it was outside my window. I have had to amplify the file quite a lot to make it easier to hear. I thought it sounded fed up in its tone, i've not heard one exactly like this before.

All my sounds were created for an upcoming motioncomic i created called: madagascar: alex's story. . . I did not create these from scratch, but instead, remixed stock sounds of different roars, growls, breathing, etc. And fiddled with their settings until i got a sound i felt satisfied with. I thought the best thing to do with them after the project was done is to share. So, no need to give me credit. This is from a library of sounds i call "pet sounds", after the plastic material pet that's mainly used for water bottles. This library contains various sounds/loops created by using waste plastic in an attempt to give this noxious material at least some useful purpose by acoustically "upcycling" it.
