I was out on the marsh edge when i could hear a strange noise in the dark. It turned out to be ice breaking up in the tidal flow. A great test for the new pair of em172 mics. In the parabolic, olympus ls-5 recorder.

This is a sound of a fridge opening and closing.

Skateboard, with no one on it, rolling down a small wooden bridge, at various speeds. Stereo, mic x/y.

Starts with two quick finger snaps before passing an iced coffee. Coffee back back and forth, on and off wooden desk shaking the plastic cup with ice, several repetitions. Sounds from inside of a refrigerator.

Classic frigidaire (electrolux) fridge turning on. It runs a cycle for about 6. 5 minutes, making a few noises along the way, and then turns off and cools down. Recorded with at875r. For those who really care, this fridge is electrolux model # ftmd18p4kw2.
