Some metal "shing" sounds, great for picking up swords or large knives. Created with a large, sharp chef's knife and a wooden cutting board. Recorded at close range in a relatively anechoic closet.
I wanted the sound of a sword being unsheathed so i took a nice zingy metal sword (from hello_flower's sword. Wav) and added a little chunk of wooden click at the beginning (from q. K. 's sword_sheath. Wav). This is my first submitted freesound hope you like it.
I wanted a sword sheathing sound and found the nice wooden/lacquer sound (from q. K. 's sword_sheath. Wav)and then added a quiet sample (from streety's sword1. Flac) to make it more metallic. .

A high-end cigar cutter recorded somewhat far away from the microphone. The sound starts with a cut, and then opening the blades, then repeats in that order. Use it for whatever you want, credit if you feel like it :).
Twanging a table knife on a desk, recorded with minidisc and condenser mic indoors, approx 6" distance. Background noise removed with audacity. Short metallic vibrating noises.
