A windy winter day in my small village in the french countryside. Dogs barking, something squeaking, a tractor passing by. . .

Car passing by, right to left on a small country road. Field recording. Recorded with a sony videocamera and a separate sony stereo-microphone.

I recorded this sound via a portable recorder whilst walking over hilly fields, colchester. You can hear birds singing and you can hear wind hitting the microphone.

I've labelled this as a thrush, but i'm no ornithologist. I recorded it outside my house in northumberland, england at 03:30am on 22nd may 2012, using an olympus ws-560m digital recorder. You can hear a stream running faintly in the background and the odd pheasant call from across the valley.

Cow sounds including snorting and mooing among others. Feel free to use however you want.

A peaceful "scene" of winter birds foraging in a large thicket of wild blackberry brambles. Among the birds that you hear, juncoes, and the beautiful little white-crowned sparrow -- the white-crown's song -- towards the end of this recording - is more melodic that his neighbors. Recorded on christmas day of 2015 in a beautiful abandoned farm field which provides great habitat and food for the midwest's winter visitors. Recording made on a cloudy 40-degree day with a sony pcm-m10.

A warm, canadian prairie day near the banks of the south saskatchewan river. The birds are chirping, insects are buzzing, the tall grass is rustling, a light wind blows through the trees. Recorded directly through my zoom h4n.

At the start of the recording, you can hear the cathedral bells chime. Most of the recording is of the ambient sounds of a walk-through of the park surrounded by the occupy protesters.
