This is the sound of cold winter wind finding its way through the gaps in our living room window. The recording has been edited to remove long stretches of silence, and has had some light noise reduction applied. The noise floor is still quite high though, so maybe best to put this one fairly low in the mix. Recorded using a zoom h2 with its rear mics activated.

Accompanying synth sounds created in pure data and used in another piece but on soloing and playback i decided this was nice standalone and might be suitable for remixing so i put on freesound, partly as though i've uploaded a couple of pieces i've downloaded more than contributed so i wanted to with this piece or snippet of pieces.

Just good hard rain! no lightening or thunder. . Just solid rain pounding on the concrete outside my door. . I mean - it was flooding! made for some great sound though!!.

Found this air vent on a location shoot. The vent was making a strange chirping noise. . . Like an alien cricket. Recorded with a tascam dr680 and sennheiser mkh-416.

Recording from top floor clarion hotel oslo. Recording is on the terras of the suite and the icrophones is pointing towards the sentral station. I have been useing sennheiser mkh 30 and mkh 50. To this recording there is a similar recording in with jecklin, useing bothe will creating a nice atmospher for surround ms in front and jecklin in rear.

Recorded some sounds, filtered out the noize, reversed it and put paulstretcher on it. Had to amplify the bass, because there was an incredibly awkward high-pitch sound in the background. A bunch of gusts as a warm moist mass of air from the south steamrolls over southern illinois on, believe it or not, december 14th 2015. The temperature outside when i recorded this was 65 degrees! not quite the norm for this time of year. Recording made with the handy zoom h4n recorder using the internal microphones.
