I switched on and off an old tape recorder. You can hear hum noise like an early synthesizer. The reason why it makes such noise is not sure, but that's the most important part of analog devices. Computer software cannot do that.

This is the synthesized sound of a walkie-talkie beginning to transmit. I once had a walkie-talkie that made this sound as a feedback; this is the same sound, made with audacity. I created this sound with a yawn is sighing. Then i changed the sounds in adobe audition cc 2014, avs audio editor 7. 3 and finalized by a stretch in audacity with a paulstretch effect.
