Alienxxx and i had a little private dare. This is how it sounds when i have mixed the two resulting files. I made a schematic sketch on a simple modular patch. All info was this sketch. The resulting sounds was meant to be 30seconds long and in mono. We both posted our sounds. Alienxxx sound http://freesound. Org/people/alienxxx/sounds/343864/my (gis_sweden) sound https://www. Basically i connected one lfo to the polivoks in. Now when i think of it. Wonder if that added something…. And how much. And to cv1 i connected a square wave and to cv2 a wide frequency sine wave. Resonance at max. Think i have to reanalyse this patch later… i’ll be back!.

Another room acoustic ambiance recording. Connected my little modular to a guitar amp (orange crush 12l). Some overdrive added character to the sound and the simple patch. Placed my phone 2,5meters from the speaker and recorded. No post editing! not even amplification.

This is a noise i found while listening to a recorded track that i thought sounded interesting, so i worked with it for a bit, eliminated all the extraneous noise, and amplified it to max volume without (unwanted) distortion.

I have recorded a sound made by crumpling a paper. Then i have recorded the noise made by scratching a streaked lid with a spoon. Then i have generated a pluck ( pitch 100), repeated it till the end, and added a “wahwha effect”. I used audacity.

This is the result of my big work with some samples from freesound and some samples that i made by myself. They were mixed all together and edited using lots of vst effects and software, reversed many times and mixed again, sampled in lo-fi quality and then again and again. . At first i wanted to use it by myself but then i thought: "why not share it with people? that can be useful. ". So please use it as you like, maybe you're an ambient or avantgarde music producer as me, and that can help you in your music. . Could be useful as a background. Enjoy!.

Sound made on modular. Today i cant come up with no cool name for my sound. I hope "fussy" is an okay name for a sick rhythm. "fussy" sounds sweet in my ears. Google corrects me, "do you mean 'fuzzy'?". No, i dont. I want fussy. . . Eehhh well. . . .

Cross fm modulated filters performing a painful dance on your eardrums. This is noise but with a musical and rhythmic trace. I keep coming back to my vcfs…?.

Alien xxx sent me a “cross modulation challenge”. I have tried to be true to his idea, but added automation, so to speak. Oscillator1 is constantly fm-modulating oscillator2. I vary the frequency of oscillator1 with an lfo. The output of oscillator1 is sent to a) left audio channel and b) in to oscillator2. The output of oscillator2 is fed to oscillator1. The degree of cross fm modulation is controlled by a vca controlled by another lfo. The output of oscillator2 is also sent to right audio channel. As i’m writing this i have just made a theoretical patch on a piece of paper. The result is what you hear. No effects added. Straight out of the modular for better or worse.

I'm using an analog delay stompbox (guitar effect pedal) to my modular synth. It's fun to overdrive it :-).

Random tones generated with modular synth. The randomness is generated with a sample and hold and some "old school tricks". The reverb is ladik r-330.

I probably won't be uploading many more of these glitch samples, unless someone wants me to. And since nobody seems to want them, i'll just upload other stuff.
