An echo of the the words game over.

I recorded this for a gamejam in 2017. Used for the game over screen where there was a maniac, demoniac child laughing at you. I probably will never be capable of doing this same laugh again. The game itself was not very good in the end. . . I had a lot of fun with my friends making it though.

I love the crackle as the shot breaks the sound barrier. Could be slowed down to make it sound like a larger weapon, or maybe even used as an impulse response. Recorded shakers with a sm57 into pro tools then i spat it out to a roland space echo and printed it back into pro tools.

A long echoing foghorn sound, made by blowing into a 10-foot-long pvc pipe in a fairly big, empty room. This is the best of the foghorn sounds i recorded. I think it sounds surprising like a real foghorn in the distance. Nice long reverb/decay after the main sound is over.
