The quiet winter gentle breeze carries itself over the roofs between the trees and homes where the lush forest once was. The car that drives by is a piece of sh*t you can totally tell hahaha. It was time to mow the lawn, and it was a beautiful day for mowing. 80 degrees and sunny. Not much breeze at all. For the production: i took the zoom h1 out and set it by the porch about 2 feet up off the ground. Recorded at 96k 24bit. The low cut and agc were disabled. Once recorded, i finished it off with a small amount of airwindows "air" with the 22k tap opened all the way up. For the mower: i used a 21 inch 140 cc "550ex" series briggs & stratton gas walk behind push mower. When i finished mowing my yard, i approached the recorder up to about 2 feet, then i cut the engine. I start it again and let it idle in close proximity for about 8 seconds, still at a distance of about 2 feet, then cut the engine one last time. I'm sure this could potentially come in handy for those outdoor scenes where you could use some distant neighborhood activity or a close-up start/stop. Enjoy!.

Afternoon suburb. Sunny. Crickets, chirpy birds. Hammers can be heard far off on roof construction. Door closes in the distance. A car goes by and then you hear faint discussions. Recorded with h4n with rycote windjammer. No more wind noise! yay! :d.

Suburban early-morning ambiance with rooster, barking dog, and a bevy of distressed, threatened birds. Lovely natural reverb. Heard it as a conversation among animals. Because it's recorded in april (before air conditioning required), early in the morning (no background traffic), there's not much urban background hum. This is a recording of scrap metal collection taken in pilton, edinburgh in august of 2022 at 4:40pm in the afternoon. The first thirty seconds are the sounds of scrap metal being loaded onto the truck (a trampoline if i remember correctly) and some talking. Then you hear the truck start up, and the message through the megaphone "any old scrap metal!" followed by a list of scrap metal items. At this point the truck is slowly driving away. This was recorded with the inbuilt stereo microphones of a zoom h5.

Recorded with samson meteor connected to the phone in the moscow metro at 6 a. M. In the train that passed two stations of the lyublinsko-dmitrovskaya line. There were no people in the train car. The sound was refined with adobe audition.

The sample are mixed and processed. The fade-in/stopping done by filters & the noises, the full sample done by glitching, granulize & adding more sounds: doorclosing, drive starting, -stopping & dooropening/drive ending.
