This is my competition entry for earth. It is comprised of copies of a kick drum recording and a high hat recording i've done with some phase vocoder processing. This short sound is really about 7 tracks of layered audio.

Stereo recording of a swinging, rusty gate. Recorded on an electret microphone. Has been processed with short stereo echoes.

Sound of the earth opening up, something like the end of the world. Made using a whole bunch of filter plugins. Lots of sub bass. If you have a decent bass response, this will shake your windows. For the earthfirewindwater contest.

I rapidly pressed the fast forward and reverse buttons on a little cassette recorder while it was playing an old radio show from the 90s. One of the first fx recordings i ever did. Recorded with a samson c03u microphone, no processing.

Bell and howell model 253 rv recorded with a cad gxl2200 microphone. The sounds are the projector being turned on, the bulb being switched on and the film reel started. The process is reversed at the end.

Zip twisting mechanism sound, then a drop glug sound. Also sound like a bottle glug. Use examples: you can use this in a number of ways if you edit it. 1. Parking meter. 2. Edit/cut the sound so that it sounds like you are using a drink vending machine. 3. Use the end glug sound as bottle being put down. Or copy and past the glug multiple times in a row to simulate someone heavily drinking from a bottle. 4. Glug sound can be used as something dropping in water. -[ recording info ]-. Strange sound can be heard from time to time in pécel, hungary especially when warm front appears. You can hear it in the beginning, calms than gets louder again at around 0:45 and fades out after 2:00. Sometimes become louder and calmer. I do not know what it is.
