Cta "l" trains audible at the nearby thorndale red line stop. Mic: core sound tetramicrecorder: zoom f8. Converted to b format using vvtetravst, then processed to stereo as wide cardioids at + and - 45 degrees using ambisonics toolkit (atk). Light noise reduction applied using izotope rx 7 spectral de-noise. High pass filter applied to reduce low end rumble. Some editing done to remove wind buffeting. Walking through the streets of central gothenburg to record urban sounds, i happen across a construction site. I walk past it and onwards to record footsteps on the pavement and eventually some light traffic and trams. Recorded with iaudio x5 internal mic.

At the waters edge, the muddy shoreline of an urban lagoon, the ripple of waves splashes in. Urban sounds mixed in as this is located near center of redwood shores, california at marlin park's beach area.

Short recording of me walking to the roof of a warehouse near the los angeles area. You can hear the wind and my foot steps on the the steel roof access staircase. Once on the roof we hear a turbine vent squeaking and an aircraft flying overhead, as police sirens pass by. Looping, swirling, sweeping, echoey, ambient keyboard sound. The result of an experiment one night with a korg z1 and a pile of vst stuff. Unfortunately i only experimented with it in one key =(. Will also loop nicely in a kind of moody, urban, dubsteppy way at around 67-70bpm.

A pedestrian crossing in the inner city of stockholm/sweden, on the intersection of the mäster samuelsgatan and the drottinggatan. It is a rainy afternoon and there is a fair amount of pedestrian and automobile traffic underway. The recorder is on street level, pedestrians can be heard speaking swedish, german, russian and a variety of other languages. Near the end of the recording, a can rolls across the pavement near the crossing. Recorded with a zoom h2n. These are the rear channels of a 4ch surround recording. Mics set to 120° dispersion.
