A drum pattern in 5/4 time. Someone on freesound's forums requested some strange timings for drum patterns, so i programmed these for them. This is my second pack. :-).

These sounds were created with free stomper drumsynth. I tried to emulate the famous simmons sdsv drumsynth, but it is definetely not an emulation, but something similar. This piece is controlled by attenuated noise. It has a pulse. Slow, but a pulse. Natural start and end. No editing.

Took a drum loop and pitched out 3 different layers of itself, one at half speed an octave down, one at quarter speed 2 octaves down, and one on top that starts out chopped up into separated transients and returns to full speed at the end. I originally made this to be 3 different levels of progression for a backing drum-loop, with the first section being the buildup, the second as the transition/windup, and the third as the breakdown.

Little breakbeat with skippy snares using one of the chemical kits in reason. Kick and snare were processed separately. A bit of fuzz used across the board to dirty it up a bit and some gentle re verb on the snares and hats.

A reverse 20" mapex ride cymbal. Captured with a sure sm57. Noticeable lack of high end, however, it can still be used for song intros etc. (no reverb or any other effects were added to this sound).

Cymbals need some 15khz eq increase because of the dynamic microphone's treble roll-off. No copyrights, free for all uses. I recommend using native instruments battery to launch the samples. Each of the battery's cells can accept stacked multi-samples, and the kit can be played through an electronic drum kit through midi. Excellent results. Any comments, contact matias: matias. A sound of a tightening wrench (a bike repair kit) being spun around to produce its distinct ratchet like sounds. Foley fun: put to 25% of its rate and you get convincing metallic gear sounds, apply a tiny bit of reverb, maybe layer it with some screeching sounds from other users (or me, your choice) or a slow gate shutter to get a nice mechanical door opening sample.

Sitting in a grassy lunch area outside a business's parking lot. Birds are chirping in the trees and ambient outdoor noise (air, breeze, distant geese, far off freeway traffic) sounds throughout. A red-winged blackbird calls around 36 seconds in.

Cat purring record close to the cat's throat, at night 2018-09-07. Some cricket and some far dog bark appears mostly at the end of the record.
